Hi,

With all of the main manufactures opting for turbo charged engines for their main line cars, such as:

- 488
- 911
- 720
... etc

01 - How come the latest Huracan (Evo) is still NA, and not turbo charged?

02 - Will the Evo be the last NA in the Lamborghini’s main line range (Huracan)?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks SuperLeg.

Yes, it’s great to see. Maybe I should ask the question the other way around then :-)

Why are all of the other manufactures going turbo. I know it is for emissions but why don’t Lamborghini have to do that?

Thanks all.

So if the manufactures go Hybrid with their V12 range, we'll still get the sound of the NA when in petrol mode? :-)

I ordered my first Turbo Porsche (or any car) last year, but held onto the previous NA car from the previous year too, and while the newer car is more powerful and looks better... I find myself jumping in the older model more purely because of the sounds of the NA engine.

....this! I went to Goodwood last year, and the McLarens, Porsches and Ferrari’s heading up the hill sounded like hairdryers compared to the noise coming out of the standard Huracan and Aventador. A Lamborghini might not be as powerful, as quick or as well engineered but it sounds fantastic and (for me) is therefore more exciting to drive.

Cheers,

Alex
PS I have Huracan Performante Spyder on order for pickup in March
Best of look with the HPS Alex... hold onto it for as long as you can, as i’m sure it will turn into what a Ferrari Speciale has turned into.
