Hi guys had my Gallardo serviced this week and test drove a Huracan 2015 whilst there which I enjoyed!

Obviously the time of year isn’t ideal for change so potentially might get a better deal than usual.

My question is

I know no one can predict the future but what’s your feelings in regards to gallardo prices? Going to free fall or hold/appreciate soon?

Same question for a Huracan now the evo is about.

I was all set to keep my gallardo and store it for winter but this has thrown a bit of a spanner in the works if I’m honest!

With that in mind if you were tempted to change, baring in mind either motor would be stored til March would you keep the gallardo hoping to attract similar value and shave another 10/15k off a similar Huracan?

I've never warmed to the standard Huracan (I hate the back of it). I was intending to replace my LP-560 Spyder with the equivalent Huracan Spyder but I couldn't bring myself to do it. So I kept the LP-560 and bought an Aventador as well.

(However, the Performante Spyder is a different proposition all together and I will be getting one of them at some point in all likelihood).
Exterior wise I prefer my lp560 and was tempted to pay 3k to upgrade the in car entertainment which they offered however when I drove the Huracan I just loved it.

I don’t bloody know. Cars hey. Not even sure there’s a deal to be done yet!

To buy a similar Huracan to the one I bought earlier this year I’d get it for about £10k less now so they are still dropping. However, they are going to be supported by Gallardo prices at some point soon which most people seem to believe have stabilised.

I test drove a Gallardo before the Huracan and the Huracan is a far better car, as it would be being a more modern car. To be honest, for the money, I can’t think of anything else better. I tried the 458 too and preferred the H. In short I’d get one, absolutely love mine.
You can get into a H now for circa 120k and a decent spec/mileage one for 130k. Realistically how much further can they drop in the next 6-8 months if the LP560 is hovering at 100k?

You can get into a 488 now with half it’s 7 year service pack for 160k - the servicing alone is worth over 5k.

Interesting few months ahead. I’m swaying to the H but in spring when my G comes back out of storage. I can see even better value coming over winter.

Hovering at £100k? I think you are a bit optimistic around the value of your own car.........lots of LP cars retailing for £85-£90k......so trading at least £10k-£15k less than that.........the slowdown is affecting all cars.......
Every LP on autotrader with under 20k mileage is 95k+ apart from one white (who wants white?) spyder at GVE for 90k. Hardly optimistic if you have a good example.
