Front lifter a necessity ?

Hi all,

Looking at getting into a Gallardo, what are the must have’s ? Looking at 07 plate or above , do they eat clutches that bad ? Is the lifter that important?

the only option on my 2007 car is lifting gear
the clutch is still going strong at 54k

I would say so. I find it invaluable.

106k mile on a pre-LP car.

Used daily.

Circa 60k miles on the last clutch (manual ‘box, double-declutched).

Park in a ‘70s multi-story at work. Take the ramps with care. Don’t need lifting gear. Never felt that I really needed it.
