Tomorrow I P/X my 62 plate Gallardo for a 67 Bentley Continental GT Speed w12.

Reasons behind my move; 2 year old (token back seats), new warranty, modern tech, PCP as opposed to a balloon HP (uncertain times) and year round usability.

I've loved my G and would deffo like to return to Lambo in the future when my 2 year old can appreciate things a bit more.

Wanted to just say a thank you for the help on this page over the past 18-24months and wish you all well.

Dan

I had to make a similar sacrifice with my Murci. It is worth it. Best of luck with the 2 year old!
Wow a Murci is a huge sacrifice mate. Thank you

Yep, 3 boys here. 5, 7 and 17 (and dogs). Very hard to justify having something that spends 90% of the time in the garage, esp. if you have it on the knock. Along comes a nice weekend, beautiful weather, nothing going on at home, perfect for a drive and the first thing the wife says is '... let's ALL go out somewhere' and off we trundle towards our 7 seater Discovery. It's a different kind of pleasure being out with the family and most times I wouldn't swap it for a hoon in a V10 but ... some days I just wish ...
Exactly my issue mate, into the big GLE Merc we go. Atleast with a Bentley we can still use it on a nice day if not travelling to somewhere to ropey.

See this in my future as have 3 young boys ( 4 yo and twin 1 yo's), all good for now in my 570s as I can just go out with my eldest but a yr or so from now the younger bucks will prob want to go for a spin...not a huge Porsche fan even tho a 911 would be the obvious choice here, there are some 4 seat Aston's I suppose not sure anything will really measure up given how good the Mc has been. Good luck with the Bentley!
Similar to me, 6 year old daughter who loves to go out for a spin on weekends but a 2 year old now wants to be involved with his Sister. And, like someone else said, any nice weather etc and the Mrs wants to do something so the Lambo sits. I ruled the 911 out almost immediately, not for me, so was between the Bentley and Aston DB11. Opted for the Bentley who have looked after me really well and helped with the Lambo as it's at Sytner.
