Not for me but loooks absolutely savage.
Why the switch?
Its been on my list for a while. The 488 was an incredible car but I didn't like the turbo noise and you seem to be always changing up a gear. I could certainly have lived with it. Decided it was a good time to try a LamboWhy the switch?

Huge congratulations, it looks amazing!!! Always catches my eye when you post, as you have a great collection of cars and garage, so when you mentioned changing the 488 (Which I know you have not had all that long) I was really hoping you made this switch!!
Well done!
Thanks LHH. i have been desperate to get a Lambo for a while. I had been thinking about a first generation 2wd Diablo but really I need a more modern car as I hope to get some miles on it this year and want to use it all year round. Well done!
I use an adaptor on my e-type and previously my cobra using the torque wrench below.

Smashing spec
As mentioned, make sure you get all the bits in "frunk" inc the centrelock socket.
You need 600nm of torque to get the CL nuts off - thats Lambo or Porsche for the right torque wrench. Might be worth looking into getting your own, however iirc you need two people to operate it...........perhaps someone can offer something up here. Basically, they are a bit of a PITA but look cool.
600nm is huge. The spinners on my e-type only need 300nm and a normal wheel nut needs around 100nmAs mentioned, make sure you get all the bits in "frunk" inc the centrelock socket.

The wrench I recommended only goes to 350nm.

That's exactly the Torque wrench i have. I used it to tighten some new Titanium wheel nuts on my 488 a couple of weeks ago. Its a very high quality piece of kit. Does anyone know what the exact torque is required for the 488 wheel nuts.?
I was told by the dealer on my 599 that it was 98nm. No idea on the 488 as didn't have it long enough to take the wheels off. Its a good wrench isn't it. Skittles001 said:
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the car. Loving mine too (understatement!). I’ve not had the problem of valves not opening in corsa - they remain open at all revs in mine, just switches in/off in strada only.
I mainly use Corsa when driving, hardly ever use Sport and use Strada when its bumpy. I did start experimenting with Sport when it was bumpy yesterday but I was convinced previously there was an exhaust difference between corsa and sport. Also the corsa didnt sound quite as loud somehow. I'm sure I wasn't imagining it. Gassing Station | Gallardo/Huracan | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
