Some interesting threads get bogged down with various squabbles and I find it easy to miss updates from the 'OP' due to the amount of noise.

Would it be possible (along with assigning 'Original Poster' under the OP's name) to make any posts from the 'OP' a different colour?

This would make it really easy to find posts from the 'OP' amongst all the noise.

A classic example of this is the " Engine Failure - Wrongly Accused Remap" thread, where 99% of posts are going over the same topic again and again, and then of course there are the squabbles - and finding updates from the OP is a non trivial task (see note in last paragraph about 'My Stuff' before you suggest watching the thread).

I realise that if the thread is in 'My Stuff' I will see updates - however because there is so much noise in threads such as this, I usually remove it from My Stuff and then occasionally look for the thread in 'What's New' - at which point searching for any updates from the OP.....

Cheers!

Click on OPs username at top of thread, click forums, click the thread you want to check and you have exactly what you are asking for.

Non?
Your own posts are highlighted in a different colour, but posts from others are not (whether posts by the OP or not).

You can scroll down the page and look for the words "Original Poster" on the left - or - if you remember the OP's name look for that too.

But a post in a unique colour would stand out, and be far quicker to find, especially if one is dyslexic.
