There is always a knowledgeable person on here who has been watching the market. I have, very recently, decided I would like to go for an SV and can currently see the market starts at £300k as of now. What has been happening with the price of these cars of late? Are cars moving or sitting for a long time?

I’m not ready to make a move until spring next year but any researchers out there who could share their knowledge of the last 6-12 months or so would be much appreciated.

Do you know what kind of price mark the SVJ coupe has pushed the SV’s down from already?

The Hartley one is a stunner, with my height though I believe the coupe’s are the only way for me to go.

I wouldn't rule out an S. Personally I felt the S is a better car than an SV, quicker gearshifts and most importantly 4WS that makes a big car far more nimble and nicer to steer. You'll save some money by finding a nice S coupe as there are plenty hanging around that haven't sold for months.
Whilst all that is true, one of the reasons I’m getting out of my Huracan is to buy a limited run model, that hasn’t been overproduced, like the perf, and will hopefully hold some value in the long term.

I also think the visceral nature of the SV is something I will love, I have a young family so long trips just aren’t an option, short bursts of escapism at the weekend are the best I can hope for right now maybe with the odd European adventure. So the more wild and exciting the trip is the better.

I think the SV around these levels will likely hold their value better than an S, but I completely agree with you on the relative merits of an S vs SV in terms of driving. I know this is close to sacrilege, but in all my years of V12 Lamborghini ownership, the SV was the most disappointing model I've had (certainly relative to my expectations).
In what way was it disappointing out of interest?

the murci sv feels much more special imo and at less than 300k is good value too
I have been thinking about this too but always lean back to the Aventador with it being more modern. There is a beautiful red one at Amari right now but first registered in Singapore, it’s still RHD but was worried this could affect its pedigree in the long run. Any thoughts on this are welcome.

Why did it feel more special to you?

Thanks for your input so far everyone. Does anyone know anything about this particular car?

Well the dream is over it seems. I went and sat in an SV today and don't fit, I am 6 foot 6. The dealer was even tinkering with the screws on the bottom to lean the seat back but it didn't make enough difference. In the Huracan I have the seats are not as deep so I can slide my bum forwards and of course recline the seat so I get away with it.

I am sure I have read about custom adjustments to these seats does anyone know anything about it as Lamborghini won't do it themselves?
