The engine as a whole (ex the car) is a rare beauty and a masterpiece. Some nice info.

Old Lambos are wonderful. There's an Espada over in the classifieds ... sorely tempted to email the chap... but must be strong and resist...

Zeroshifts'? The man is a serious carnut (check out his contemporary TVR museum). I would not look crazy if he took you for a spin when you're around . . . i'm in the bloody Netherlands so . . . . envy, envy, envy and take ur chance.

The Miura is the most beautiful car ever - ( . . . ) that won't stop me buying an SV sometime.... not for a second...

Jota-version for me.

Uracco is nice.

"This smaller Lamborghini was developed to compete with cars like Porsche 911. It was a rather cramped 4-seater, however, powered by a 90 degree V-8 of 2,5 litres when it appeared in 1973 as the P250. But the timing was off and it didn't sell well, so a smaller 1994 cc was introduced in the P200 the following year complemented by the P300 with a 2996 cc engine developing 265 hp. In all 1050 cars of these types were built. With the beautiful Bertone body it deserved better."

This is the Lambo for me really: 375 / 8000 4 litre v12

Check the urls I posted along the way in this thread . . .

I did not put in the piccies because one could seriously get wet . . .

Zeroshift must be glad not to have me for a neighbour: I would drink all his coffee! or spoil his petrol.

Morning Zero, my Golf broke down and the Honda has a flat. I wonder . . .

This is the thread of the Gods, of cars for which the phrase "supercars" was coined...

Interestingly very little mention so far of the "red cars" from up the road. Let's try and keep it that way....

I guess I messed it it up with the V12 T70 . . .

I'll second that.

Out of curiousity - anyone here own or have experience of a Maserati Ghibli? I'd love to find out more about these beauties

Well, everytime I see one I stand flabergasted for a moment or 22. So far my experience.
