McLaren on track days

Has any other 12C owner had an issue with their car bottoming out at the Nurburgring? I took mine to the Ring earlier this year and had to replace the air vanes attached to the under floor of the car after it bottomed out at high speed through Flugplatz, Schwedenkreuz and then the Karussell.

Also, do any of you recommend 'normal', 'sport' or 'track' for the handling setting on bumpy circuits such as the Ring?

I'll be taking the 12C to the EVO Magazine track day at Bedford on 7 July so will try the 'track' handling mode there.
