Is there a specific way to check a McLaren battery?
Discussion
My 650 has spent the majority of the past 6 months at a dealer (long story, but about three months having faults fixed), with possibly two weeks hooked up to a battery charger.
I should be getting it back next week, and I am concerned about the condition of the battery given that it has not been on charge for the majority of the time.
I know one can check the voltage, but McLaren state that a battery charger should be hooked up if the car is not used for extended periods and this has got me worried.
If it were a regular battery then no big deal, I'd just change it, but with a lithium battery that hasn't been charged for 6 months will I be needing to spend 2k on a battery in a couple of months?
Of course, the dealer is telling me it's fine, but to say I don't trust them is an understatement.

Which car was/is it ? Can't believe its taken them that long to solve any issues and if it has I would look to be rejecting the damn thing
I bought it in January, was away in February so delivery arranged for March. Had it a week and a bit and then it went back to get things sorted. A few issues, hopefully now all sorted bar one....the doors latches are faulty and need replaced or the alarm keeps going off at random hours....been told today they haven't got the latches, expecting them tomorrow, but if they don't arrive there isn't a back up plan.....they're the same latches as in the 720 so I've told them to take them out of one of those if necessary. For the past two months they've had a deadline of this Friday to get it back to me otherwise I will reject it. I've been more than patient and accommodating, and for me the whole McLaren ownership / Rybrook Bristol experience is one I would not wish upon anyone.
