Ok so it’s not the more popular 570, the interior is slightly questionable and it’s possibly been abused by 6 owners but this baby McLaren 540c looks like a cracking bargain and has a few decent options....

By way of comparison I’ve been offered a similar Milage 570s for £90k from a main dealer so feels like some real softening on residuals here...

Good time to buy...Thoughts???

Yes - Very much so, added to a wide choice of colour and few other essentials like warranty and servicing - 6 owners would be a worry in only 2.5 years. Plus that brown... not sure I could drive it daily without wearing some really dark shades !!! Lol

I’ve been reflecting on this over the morning as in the face of things it’s a great price. However the cars are very Milage / Price sensitive. It seems to impacts the residual hugely. Also factor in the following if not buying from a main dealer:

Extended McLaren Warranty 12mths @ £2595
3rd Year Service @ £1440

The cheap car starts to look a little more expensive...

The best time to buy a McLaren is the moment you can afford one because life is shorter than you think.
Love it - That’s 100% right - Totally Agree

These are now getting ridiculously low in price compared to what else is on the market..

Very tempting...but how low can these go? Can't believe 3yr old car would be at trade of what, £65k-£70k? Madness wobble
I always knew dealers worked on a fairly generous margin but speaking to McLaren Ascot they told me they work on £15-£20k trade - I was shocked
