What do these usually involve?

I've just received mine, but it was very brief - just over a minute long. I now know the tread depth on each tyre (although only on the middle groove), that there are no oil leaks, and that apparently there is no play in the front suspension components.

I was expecting it to be a bit more in depth - especially regarding consumables that won't be covered by warranty. The car has only done just over 7k miles - but although I would know how to check steel discs, I have no idea how to check carbon ceramics - and since I assumed the video would cover it, I didn't even try to see the pads.

I was expecting the video to confirm that I was unlikely to have any unexpected expenses in the near future, but it doesn't seem to have told me anything - other than tyre depth which is the one thing I had checked!

Mine (from McLaren Manchester) have been more than that (the last one was 3:28 minutes)

4 tyres (full width inside, middle and outside)
Pads and disks
Any stone chips
Underbody scuffs
Wheel damage (or not)
That's more the sort of thing I expected. I've asked for a better one, and have been told it will be arranged.

Why don't you just go and have a look Dave. You're spending a lot of money, surely that's fair?
The car isn't on site now - I went this morning. But I've been told a new video will be made on Monday.
