570S Regular track use

As the prices of a used 570S are comparable to a 991.1 GT3, I've been looking at a 570S as a weekend/track day car instead of a GT3.

Does anyone use their 570S on track? If so, do they require any necessary mods? Also, how do they stand up to regular track use?

Have you driven one or even stand next to it?

911 will appear a normal car after. That was my reaction.

I've driven a 12c, 570S coupe & spider. Driving my Cayman GT4 straight after driving the 570 coupe was a mistake as the GT4 felt floppy and unfocused.

TBH - I found the dealership experiance with McLaren light years better than Porsche but at the time of looking but couldn't conclude a satisfactory deal.

They've dropped to a price point where, even with the warranty costs factored in, I think they are becoming great value for money in comparison to other similar cars in the same market sector.
