After a long wait I finally found a car, A 570s track pack and collected last night from a forum member Who I couldn’t thank enough for making the buying process nice and easy. Driving it back the weather was awful so I was very careful.

I had it out today and I love it , glad I Made the jump to mclaren and not an R8 which was my original plan. Having come from an f80 m3 it feels like it’s from another planet performance wise. I will get some good pictures once I get a chance to clean it properly.

Congrats I know you had been looking for a while like myself although I settled on rather boring black by comparison! Track pack quite rare too how do you find the bucket seats? I just go out on random drives with no destination in mind love driving the thing diff level car to anything I had before hope it stays sound plan to use it plenty!
The bucket seats are great, it has touring size fitted. I’m around 6’2 17 stone and they are fine fitment wise, I was a little worried though I did read some stories about how small standard sized ones were.
It drove back last night and did a few miles today in it with no dramas at all and hopefully it remains that way I plan to use it too.

Sideways as in the picture rotated, not me driving sideways, I was very careful, pzero corsas are certainly not much use in the winter.

Just a quick update, the car has been totally faultless, I’m still getting used to the attention it brings everywhere I go but it’s all very positive

When I bought the car it had been booked in to Hatfield to have some corrosion issues sorted, however I live near Glasgow so I spoke to Mac Gla about doing it instead, both Hatfield and Glasgow were very helpful in sorting it for that to happen and has just spent a couple of weeks at Glasgow getting the wings sorted, they really are great to deal with and I couldn’t fault them.

Now it’s back just in time for what seems like the worst weather of the year.

One thing I Would like to possibly change is the noise, I have the standard sports exhaust fitted and I wouldn’t say it was quiet, but I would still like a little more volume if anyone happens to be selling a Larini/Quicksilver etc

Just a quick update, with everything going on I haven’t been using the car much but I do try get it out even if it’s just to go shopping,
It’s booked in to mclaren Glasgow for a service at the end of the month and the warranty is up for renewal. I did notice a little bit of corrosion starting on the rear 1/4 so they will sort that too.

A random stranger pulled in when I was parked and asked to take some pictures of it last week, he kindly emailed me them,

Yeah they are the super light weight wheel ( I’m now thinking about getting them redone gloss balck ) and pzero corsa tyres. I actually just had new tyres all round. But next set I will be switching to Michelin’s I think.

It’s been a while since my last update, the car has now returned from being at Mac Glasgow for it’s 3rd service, end of warranty check, warranty renewal and first MOT.
I had some corrosion on the other drivers side rear 1/4 which they sorted and some other bits picked up on warranty check .

Now after following Davek_964’s 650 thread and him querying the paint not quite matching despite the car never being painted.
I had a very similar issue, in certain light conditions I felt the front bumper nose would look slightly off, I mentioned it and after a little back and forth between Mac Glasgow and HQ they decided to repaint the bumper under warranty.

Again a big thumbs up for Glasgow they have been excellent to deal with again, it took a little longer than expected with the back and forth over the bumper but was all worth it in the end.

I collected it mid morning yesterday and never got home till 9pm, 150 miles later.

I must have just missed you, I was there all day yesterday with mine, for its 3rd service, MOT and warranty.

I'll update my thread tonight or tomorrow. Had a great run back up the road via Braemar on the Old Military Road
I seen you coming in, I was hovering around for a bit before I left. Did you just stay at the garage while they serviced it ?

I’m going up north for a couple of days with a few lads from work. Heading back down to aviemore then I Was gonna planning on doing old military road on the way home

Any suggestions ?
