Collected new 600LT Spider from those helpful people at McL Hatfield. Great deal on one of the last spiders they had and with a nice spec.

So far, 250 miles in, nothing has fallen off or gone wrong - apart from a slight squeak from the rear window (solved by opening it all the time to listen to the exhaust!) and one time it couldn’t find the key to start the car for about 10 seconds. I’m hoping this is a sign of things to come because otherwise, first impressions are that the car is absolutely brilliant. A real event to drive even at low speed, loving the steering feel and the conventional suspension. And the noise of the exhausts smile

congrats. I also got sucked in by the same deal, so my first McLaren is coming in a few weeks. It's a black Spider. I was grinning like an idiot after the test drive, so that was decision made.
Congrats - you will love it I’m sure.

Only 300 miles or so but I’m genuinely in love.
The stupid key not found has come up a few times so that’s going to get sorted. Key is in the cubby hole in the middle, right next to the start engine button.

The standard style seats (not Senna) in the 720S and 570S have a little pocket at the front ot the seat between your legs. Since I started using it to put the key into, the Key Not Found issue hasn't happened again.
Thanks I will check - I have the “racing buckets”.

And it is bloody annoying as the car simply won’t start. Have to turn electrics off and wait and then try all over again.

Also the battery days left gauge is a bit optimistic. It said 40 days when I parked it but was then giving me warnings after 3 days so now it goes on the plug in charger every night.
