The yellow 12C at Sytner Select Leicester on Autotrader seems a very good price. After seeing the YouTube video of Thorney Motorsports (5 million miles in Mclarens) I think I could be tempted into a 12C!
Does anyone know this Mclaren? was this the one that was up quite a while ago?

Early lockdown I placed a deposit on this very car and it is definitely orange. Personally I liked the interior, comes with stealth wheels sports exhaust upgraded stereo some interior and exterior carbon and the extended paddles in carbon. Also has PPF.
On first inspection the car looked brilliant and I was pretty much sold. Upon driving it (sounded really nice) immediately a TPS light came on. Wasn't too bothered and continued test drive. After about fifteen minutes of driving the engine went into limp mode with engine warning light on. Made my way back to dealer and they immediately agreed to send it to Thorney for inspection. That was on the Thursday. I left the deposit on it and spoke to Thorney on the Friday and they hoped to be able to take a look on the Monday or Tuesday. Not sure what happened but had heard nothing from the dealer after 10 days so gave up and placed a deposit on a 570S. Dealers were really nice guys imo, deposit was returned same day I asked for it. It has obviously been fixed and is back up for sale and at that price I really do think its a bargain. Be sure to ask the right questions!

They also have a 650s coupe in pearlescent white which looked really nice with some nice options.
Thanks for the information cashewnut.

A video proving how generally reliable and excellent McLaren's are is one of the quietest threads in the McLaren section for ages. I wonder why confused

biggrin
I just love the look of these, and the fact they are British through and through, I have a TVR and a Triumph so I guess i'm used to unreliability, part of the fun.

It’s a dangerous situation that I also find myself in...... earning a reasonable salary each month, but stuck far away from the better things in life..... somehow I have ended up looking at McLarens as well over the last few weeks.....
Yes, very dangerous, I am torn between a 12C and a Ferrari California, 2 totally different cars I know, but both with their pros and cons, i'm a victim of being stuck in Iraq for over 3 months and the more time i spend looking the more sense it seems to make for one or the other!
