anyone any insights into what is happening in the used market, esp Mc's?
Very few cars for sale used at the moment - have people decided to hang on for the year, has everyone bought everything already given YOLO, or do you expect that post-lockdown there'll be a flurry of buying and a more usual car flow? Asking as keen to buy a Mc but finances currently less liquid than I'd like so waiting would be preferred, but not if there's no availability later in the spring/summer!
I know none of us have a crystal ball, but there may be other insights out there. FWIW I think the supply will more or less dry up now that an end to lockdown is sort of in the diary, because people now have a date they can actually go and see and test drive cars, so they will wait until then and then shop and chop and change after that - so April/May will see a pickup of volumes. But if you have other insights, do share!
