Thanks for all the positive posts, I have sat in one a few years ago and ever since wanted to at least drive one.
So I'm becoming a big boy now and my Boss the lovely lady indoors has tipped her head, that surely means I m allowed?
So seen a Orange one at Philip Ireland.
Anybody know the car he has told me it's had some paint work but still has the original ppl around 30k spent over its life, my slight worry is low milage and had to spend so much on it.
It will come with 12 mths mot, and inspection for a Warranty which is about £2800..will I need to spend that amount?
If you guys are to go by it seems your all very happy what's your running costs is 30k a lot?
I'm coming from the Brand ever one says there unreliable 🙄😂😂
My experience having had 2 Tamoras is nothing but fantastic cars..
Ps read my original post my spelling and the like is terrible 🙄🙄👆

Re that car -

I think for what is an essentially a private sale treaty as no warranty is offered on his cars (my understanding maybe wrong) , I'd keep looking as the spec is pretty low on that car, lack of carbon interior is an issue I'd imagine with buyers (generally).

Funny enough my old 12c came up for sale this week at the same money and was sold in 24 hrs, so the good ones go fast.

Have you watched John Thorney 5 million miles YouTube video and buyers guides etc ? as these are really useful for research.

Cheers for your reply it seems the car is still a customers car and he is selling it for them reading between the lines.
Yes Thorney warranty I was looking into.

If I’ve put 2 and 2 together correctly, you have a very nice Tamora in red?? If so, my advice is to hold off on a McLaren purchase for another 18 months until I can buy your Tamora from you.
I woukd love to but just put it up for sale on pistonheads. ??????

Does anyone know what’s up with the Philip Ireland car? It looks a decent spec/money to me but has sat there for months now.
1) Lack of Carbon Interior. When I had mine, they were almost unsellable with the cheap silver plastic non carbon interiors.

2) Awful standard wheels. Almost all later wheels are so much better.

3) Almost zero carbon. No carbon wing mirrors, roof, front or rear diffuser, engine bay, interior, seat backs, wheel arches, wing mirror arms, air brake.
Its funny I woukd of happily bought that until you guys in the know said about the missing carbon😔😂😂

Well guys you have all really helped me and understand more about this wonderful Super Car, I'm now in the market and looking at 4 cars over the weekend, here is hoping my lovely wife can get in and be comfortable, she really was quite poorly a few years ago and still suffers from her oops.. 😳
So hopefully it's a lot smooth ride than the TVR. 😉😉🙄
Thanks and keep telling us, that have not been so lucky in owning one..

Thanks for so much help and input here guys again..
We have just agreed on a beautiful volcano Red 20k miles, 2 owner car.

So so please with our decision, even the owners who we sadly had to say no too were perfect gents and wished us good luck owning our new car.
So awaiting a service and check over before we take her to her new home in Cornwall.

I'm looking at a very similar car (see link below)

I'm also considering 570s on the market for another £10k on top of the asking price of above car.

What do you think?
I contacted them Cople times not my type of service, pity because the cars look OK.
