I'm looking for a track focused McLaren that I can drive to the circuit but is more focused for the circuit. I would be using the GT circuits so looking for good high speed handling, v's tight corners etc. I've been out in the 620r and was blown away with the car but I can't justify the cost.

I'm looking for something to hold onto and will replace my 911 Turbo as my road car.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Some good insights, I recognise they are very different in price (almost double) but was wondering how much of a gap there is between the two of them when it comes to cornering. I don't get over exited by BHP, top end and straight line speed but like having something that can keep up with the machines on track.

I was swaying to the 675LT and they also seem get very good reviews due to the rarity.

600LT should be in the list? I hope so having just put a deposit down for one with a not dissimilar brief.
Would be interested in knowing how you get on Tim.

Silverstone was a great event this week. I went on Tuesday, with a few Porsches, Cayman S (track focused), 996 T and 964

Pirelli and the manufactures put on a great event and I was most impressed by McLaren, and liked their focus on events and customer days.

Agree, but great for those that made the most of it.

Developing a 570s to become more track focused sounds an interesting idea. A good way of getting to know the dynamics of the car and then upgrade as you understand the limits. Like some have said how many of us use all 10/10ths when doing track days.

The 911 turbo is plenty fast enough but heavy on the corners so having the performance but with better and lighter cornering ability are my thoughts.

I’ve got a Zenos for the shorter circuits and having fun the aim of McLaren is to use on GT circuit and enjoy days out.

Thanks for sharing the ideas.
