I was set on a 720, which would mean selling a couple of bits. However if I went with a 570s, it's just less money and I can loose the roof.

I've had half an eye on this, looks nicely specced. I'm tempted to offer a 'cheeky' bid of £100k.

any opinions?

Great colour, but not sure about the interior colour ways, I don’t see that £100k is going to buy it, too close to the new season now, they’ll probably hold out for all the money.
I’d be looking to get at close to asking with at least a proper McLaren inspection and any faults sorted and the budget for a McLaren warranty in 90 days when this is the earliest they would cover it.
Keep us posted if you go for it, great cars and the spider version is absolutely worth the extra money.
its at mclaren manchester so will come with a years warranty anyway. Been for sale for a while(ish).

Think you'll be nowhere near at £100k. Leeds had a blue 570s in similar at £109k and wouldn't accept £105-106k a couple months ago, and it sold anyway at/near full asking.
maybe thats where the deal is then?

Sensible spec?

Looks really nice, good spec with the audio upgrade, lightest wheels and some carbon bits, I like the colour too and it's not common, so it'd be something a bit special.

Price history
29/01/2024 £109,000
24/01/2024 £111,000
08/11/2023 £114,000
26/10/2023 £118,000

You could potentially point to this Glasgow car at £105k to justify offering that much?

as they've only come down from 114k less than two weeks ago, I'm not sure how much lower they'd go.

Ultimately 109k is the top of the market for a 570 Spider currently. It depends if you're happy to pay a bit of a premium for a newer car and buying approved used with the warranty.

If not, you could consider something like the car at AB https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202401185... for less. A year older and lower spec, but not sure how much difference that makes.
The AB car just as a terrible looking interior to me. Fair point about the glasgow car.

No , not sure they have, a few have increased the selling price but generally a downward trend,, at the end of the day they are a mass produced sports car
gt3/gts price are still dropping, same as a cayman gt4 rs.

992.1 production is winding down, and you won't get a Turbo, GTS or GT3 992.2 arriving for 18mths; the cars shall all sell hence why they will tough it out and increase the prices as they have done.

The GT3 market is still in most cases above original otr price or pretty near it.

Turbo prices are where they were new 18 mths ago when a great spec Turbo s cab was around £185k new; asking £215k is just not going to happen, hence why brand new ones seem a bargain at current offered prices.

The 2 crazy increases just skewed the prices; I'm not sure how they price the 992.2 models as the current 992.1 prices do not reflect the mainstream product as you mention, and another increase would choke the 992.2 launch.
I'm not after a porsche, i'm after something thats not quite as common and a littel more special than a turbo/turbo s/GTS etc etc.. Gt4 RS's are interesting though now they're already back at/near list.
