Views on Lexus GS450h please

Been looking at these for a while now, what are peoples views on buying a second hand one around the 06/07 plate. Are the batteries still efficient when the car has done 80/90k miles? I drive a Lexus is220d at the moment and would like something a bit smoother and also automatic. I realise the GS will do less MPG but most of my driving is town work and I dont do a massive mileage a year.
