I was stuck behind one of these a couple of days ago and couldn't fail to notice the misaligned boot. I didn't realise at that time that it was a £130K car !! Is this kind of stuff the norm for Tesla? This would drive me nuts on a £20K car never mind something that costs £130K.

This was the paint finish on my brand new Aston Martin a couple of years back, a company who once prided themselves on the quality of such things. My wife had a new BMW once and it filled with water when it rained, we subsequently rejected it. I'm not sure what point you're making other than Tesla are like every manufacturer and they have off days. If you'd posted a picture of 4 of them, all lined up next to each at a dealer, then you'd have a bit more of story.
Did it leave the factory like that? The supplying dealer should have rectified that before you got it which I suspect they did afterwards without too much hassle. Aston Martin and BMW are established brands Tesla are not so they should be taking extra care to ensure the fit and finish of their product matches the cost. They only have one USP that I can see and in 2-5 years every major brand will be offering the same kind of vehicle at which point why buy a poorly built Tesla when you can buy a better Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Honda, Volvo, Porsche, Toyota, Dyson, etc.
