NEW BMW 330e ordered.........
Discussion
Worthy of a new thread?
I just pushed the button on this:-
330e M Sport
Mineral Grey
Mocha Interior with Night Blue contrast stitching Vernasca Leather
Sun Protection Glass
Lumbar Support.
I am delighted that I managed to squeeze into an M Sport spec this time for my company car rather than my current SE. The lease company have said that orders placed today will not arrive before October and it's only going to get worse. Requested delivery for December, it may not make any difference but at least my order is in the system!

Makes sense. I couldn't tell as there was conflicting information on the lease company web site. Run flats were listed as a no cost option, so I added them. I have them now on my current 330e and for me they are preferable to a can of gunk that doesn't always work and ruins the tyre anyway!

A slight oddity with the app. It's informing me that my brake fluid needed to be changed in December 2001. Have queried with connected drive customer services.
We had one delivered in our office a few weeks ago and it did the same. The driver has had to take it into the dealer. I haven't seen him since to find out the outcome. My car should have been built around now, due for delvery beginning of December. 26 days and counting then
Well, mine arrived on Monday bang on time, I'm very happy with it. I'm Just getting to grips with it now, it's quite a change from the old model. Electric range indicated 24 miles this morning with the climate off but having pre-heated through the app. I was worried that the 19" wheels with run flats would be too harsh, but happy to report that it feels absolutely fine. I still have the fillings in my teeth
Random differences to note compared to my old one:
Touchscreen is more useful that I thought
Electronic handbrake
Normal indicator stalks that click down/up
The light ring around the charging socket has gone and this make it more difficult to plug in when it's dark.
It makes very wierd whirring noises when plugging in.
Can't say i've noticed the acoustic "engine" noise yet
Finally climate control sync setting for temperature.
Double the charging time - 4 hours at full beans on an installed charger (obviously)
Spotify App seems to run in the car rather than through the phone.
Thought I would miss the heated steering wheel but this one is a nicer warmer leather anyway.
Lights are good, only had halogens before.
Seems to run in electric mode up to 70 MPH instead of 51. maybe there is a setting somewhere.
Driving modes are different, Electric, Hybrid & Sport.
Battery Save % is configurable now, not just set at 90%.
Still Learning!
