So......
I am going to be controversial and say I didn't go ahead with my order...
Rightly or wrongly I popped for a Tesla Model 3, my reasoning is currently it's such a risk relying on the other brands of chargers. I attempted in our PHEV as a test to see if I could charge at all the places I'd need to on my 'normal' work area.
Most of the Ecotricity ones were either blocked or just didn't work. Then coupled with the one or two bay availability.
Now it's fully possible poor reliability will mean my Tesla won't get there anyway but it opens such a different avenue. Not only do you have the 'normal' charge network but the vast bank of Superchargers..
I have no doubt the Polestar will be a better built car as will the VW ID but until the network is expanded ( and I blame Ecotricity ) on the motorway it's more of a risk I was happy to take in one jump. Maybe for the next car
