Hi All,
Currently 18 months into driving my company (lex autoloease) 330e MSport and due to a promotion i have the opportunity to get into a new car.
i also now have a 12 month old 30kg dog so the idea of a C or E class estate appeals but i still want to have low BIK
Can anyone offer some insight into them as models? are they any good?

Thanks for that. Cant use a full electric as i do over 25,000 miles a year and can have to (yesterday for instance) do 300-400 miles in a day.
I love the 330e but want something with a big boot for the dog and camping
diesel EV seems to make more sense for me over something like a V60 T8 which, like my 330e get pretty poor MPG when off the electric

i currently get about £100 back a month on this car and both the E and C class merc are due an upgrade so i don't want to jump into a 6/7 year old platform again.
G30 is intriguing as i do like a BMW and the new 3 series is really nice
to be fair i didnt think about the extra diesel percentage!

Thats what i'm looking at but also had confirmation from a friend at BMW that a new 330e touring is due early 2020 so might hold out for that as the merc is based on a 2014 platform 31miles on Electric.

Juts had another look into this and the diesel hybrids do not have the 4% BIK added to them as they are not classed as diesels. They look like they'll be significantly more tax efficient than a C or E class diesel hybrid, both of which are above 40g/km CO2 and step up a band in tax (and do they have a diesel tax on top, as the E class hybrid estate is £120 / month more than where the 330e is likely to sit).

they are also both in the same tax banding so it just comes down to the cost of the vehicle as the merc is slightly more

after 40,000 miles (Since Nov 2018) in my 330e i'm averaging 42mpg so the merc is tempting. looking to pop down to a few dealers this weekend and have a play. long distance motorway MPG on the C350e is around the 40MPG, expecting to get at least 60mpg (which I could easily get in my previous C220 d) for the C300de if not more...… Current Contracts up in December so the C300de makes sense for me.....
interested to hear if volvo bring out a T6 version of the V60/v90 soon too
