Audi E-Tron major delay
Discussion
Evening All
I've been told today that the E-Tron I ordered weeks ago, for delivery in early April, MAY only be starting to get built end of June due to a shortage of processor chips that these cars and others need.
Im now looking at alternatives, but there's not much out there I like. I'd love a Range Rover P300E, but I think the BIK tax is quite a lot.
I think the Jag I-Pace is ugly as sin, and Im not a lover of the Merc EQC...............so what else?
I'm leasing this through my company, the E-Tron was ideal as Zero BIK tax, along with all EVs

Cheers for all the replies, very interesting reading. If the E-Tron is going to be a long wait, my backup plan is a P400e Range Rover Sport! I dont do many miles, and it'll do for a few years until the EV world is in better shape.
I've always loved the RR Sport, and I know the build quality is questionable, but its a Range Rover

Hi
I'll be leasing it through my business, hence why i was going full EV for the zero tax, but the RR Sport is only £195 per month personal tax, so not too bad for a car like that.
I've looked at the X5 45e, but it just doesnt have the appeal of the RR. I had a 2015 X5 40d M Sport, and whilst it was built brilliantly, the ride was awful. I believe the new X5s have air suspension, but again, it doesnt have that kerb side appeal of a RR.
Cant wait now, hope I can get one soon! lol
