I rate the Merc E class very high in terms of interior quality. Don't think any EV south of an EQC/e-tron touches it in that regards.
That said, if you're happy with your E class and it's dealer, but do fancy a change, how about the EQC?
Personally I love the idea and look of the IONIQ 5, but in many ways it won't be an E-class competitor.
But it can do this, which the e-class can't
Its not a dealer, I'm happy to go anywhere. I really like the look of that hyundai and think it'd be a strong option. That said, if you're happy with your E class and it's dealer, but do fancy a change, how about the EQC?

Polestar 2 AWD looks to have really improved from an efficiency perspective and now a likely 200 mile winter car, the RWD LR version will 100% do it but is rather down on performance in comparison.
Merc EQS looks like it will have the range and top quality but going to be rather expensive.
BMW i4 on the horizon but no definitive numbers yet. With an 85kW pack it should be capable of the range in 40 form but questionable as to whether the M50 model will manage it.
Kia EV6 could be a consideration, although from videos I've seen the interior quality looks good but not great.
I did look at the Polestar 2 this AM. With an extra 10% in winter it'd do what I need.Merc EQS looks like it will have the range and top quality but going to be rather expensive.

The EV6 does look like a good option, the 'fast' one isn't due out till next year?

^ This is my choice. I'm expecting to place an order once my local dealership has their test drive model in, we've had a few hyundai now and their interior quality is improving, excellent warranty and the amount of kit you get at each spec lvl vs the Germans is just immence.
It’ll be better than an American offering. We ran a Kia Sorento as a family car over an xc90.SWoll said:

Last I heard the Mercedes EQE was due in 2022, not sure exactly when though.
I definitely want to see the IONIQ 5 in the flesh though - I think with EVs we have to be prepared to get over some of the £50k for a Hyundai/Kia badge snobbery.
Will be interesting to see how well they hold their value. You'd assume a lot better than their more expensive ICE cars like the Stinger GTS mentioned above but only time will tell. However it’s a company car so I’m not really bothered.
I do think their a growing brand, the Hyundai just looks so cool also.
I’ve just noticed the Audi q4 - don’t think there’s been proper range tests yet?
