Me too Ross, my dealer says October but I think they’re just trying to be nice to me!

I saw a regular one (in white like I’ve ordered) in town, ir looked very nice.

What colour are you getting?

It should improve my CAFE just a bit smile
I’ve ordered a matte steel grey one, but it seems there may be some issue with that. Waiting on confirmation from KIA.

This is to replace my leased (company car) model 3 performance.

As far as I’m aware they aren’t delivering any till December, so October is probably a little optimistic! When did you order?

Colour suspended for new orders and possible delays for existing orders. I’ve heard warranty issues and / or supply issues. So I might have to change.

You could always get a white one and wrap it in matte grey?
Nice idea but company car so can’t be faffed with that

It will be interesting to see a comparison between the M3P and the GT when journos can finally get their hands on one. The GT is heavier but also has more power.

Still haven't had any confirmation on whether my colour choice of matte steel grey is going to be fulfilled.

On a 3 year 30k lease the GT is coming in at £960 a month, the i4 M50 £950 and the Model Y P £890.

With the vast majority of EV's being company/salary sacrifice cars due to the BIK saving the lower confidence in residuals could be an issue for the Kia.

And we'll see if they hit that £58k price for new orders in 2022, I very much doubt it.
Is that a base i4 M50?

Thankfully I ordered my GT over a year ago so I have the lower price.

Besides the EV6 GT has even more power than the jag.

Also a head-up display as standard whereas the jag is 900 option (if they've found some spare chips)

EV6 has way more power than the Jag! An extra 176hp!

How are you getting a 4 day test? My dealer will only let me have a car for an hour. I haven’t taken them up on that yet as I’m not sure I want to drive a non-GT as it wouldn’t be a good comparison.

Has anyone been promised a drive in a GT yet? My dealer said they will ring me when they get a regular AWD demonstrator in but have no idea when I can drive a GT
Not yet. I don't think there are any other than the one (or more?) that has been on Youtube.

Some (rubbish) news on my matte steel grey.

I still don't know if not changing the colour will make any difference to the lead time.

However if I change colour I am being told delivery would still be December.

The available 'colours' are white or black which is a bit pants.

Have you had a recent update? I would be surprised if yours wasn't on the same boat as mine...

Carwow did a video this week saying a real world 200 mile range maybe best you can get (and lower if you use the power) so I’m starting to get cold feet now ??
That's all I get from my M3P at the moment so I'm not too bothered.

But all that really matter is: How often do you actually exceed 200 miles in a single day?.. and however often that might be, is it really going to be an issue to stop at a fast charger for 30-60mins to get such trips done? Especially given that a 300-400 mile long journey would typically feature a rest/food break regardless of the need to charge. I use public chargers 2-3 times a year as I live in a tiny country called England and 200 miles is normally more than sufficient.
And (with the right charger), that would be a fair bit quicker in the EV6 with its 800V systems.
