Advice needed on campsites etc at Le Mans

Hi all, advice needed
looking to take my son (22) to Le Mans for our first trip next year, and there are so many choices and prices I don't know where to start.
I have been to Le Mans twice in 2004 / 2005 but this was different as through work, so accommodation etc was all taken care of.
Looking to drive down Thursday / Friday and like to know what's available and where from.
