Le Mans 24 bike race compared to car..advice please

Im thinking of going to the 24 hr Le Mans bike race for a flying visit - Saturday from start to dark. Some on here have been to both. Its to check it out for myself and to teach our support driver for the car race how to get there and drive in France (never been abroad before). I'm a bike road race fan.
I got some questions.
Is it mad getting in, if I come in Southside for mid day will I be able to park up or is it mayhem? I will come by car. I do have a parking option on the Mulsanne straight and could cycle in if I have to.
Can i book tickets to oversee the start line or is it first come first served?
Do they put big screens round the circuit like they do for the car race?
Do they have Englis speaking radio coverage?
Im going to just watch Saturday then head North to Rouen from about 10pm for hotel and bed en route back to Calais. Will I be missing anything really special not being there Sunday? If I enjoy the bike race I'll do a full trip of it following.
