Have our booking confirmed by Travel Destinations for our 2019 Le Mans trip. Its quite a jaunt from Alberta, Canada.

Been 8 times now and each time have caught the ferry from either Poole or Portsmouth, this time we decided to catch the train London - Paris, Paris - Le Mans, and the other guys from the UK who make up our group will pick us up at the station in Le Mans. The car hire is a real problem on a Canadian license when taking it out of the UK, last year the 5 of us from Canada rented a 7 seater Citroen from Gatwick, cost an arm & a leg, so figured we give the train a try.

Thanks for all the great advise, the train change at Lille sounds a great idea.

Yea there’s some pretty mouthy women out here in the Wild West, but pretty helpful if you need your wood chopped or puncture fixed on your pick up

The last time we went in 2017 we made the mistake of booking a grandstand seat by the Dunlop bridge. The seats are very uncomfortable, but the worse part was the dreadful French commentator, shouting and trying to wind the crowd up. Won’t make that mistake again. The private viewing area in the TD campsite is great, but favourite spot is Arnarge.

I clearly met the wrong one. All she was good at was spending money I didn't have whilst pointing out how sh**t I was !
