I’m going over in June for the N24 and this year LaMans falls the weekend before. I had looked at camping on the Friday-Monday but it might not work.

I have looked at a Ferry that would get into Caen for about 6am on the Sunday morning, meaning LeMans at 8am. Which would leave approx 7 hours of racing left to go.

I’ve never been to LeMans but want to see it, would there be much point in seeing just the last 1/4 of the race? I’m not sure how much you could see in a few hours rather than the full weekend.

Not sure how you expect to be at le mans that quickly, the traffic will be a bit of a problem, but yes the last part of the race will be worth watching, you will need tp park somewhere away from the circuit and get the tram in unless you purchase a parking ticket at the circuit.
How busy does it be?

I assumed that with a prebooked parking ticket it might not be too bad to drive in. I’m in no rush to leave on Sunday.

There’s somewhere between 250-300,000 spectators usually, does that give you an idea?!

Can you not come over a day earlier and see at least some racing over night as well?

I’ve been to both the Nurburgring 24hr and Spa 24hr and was able to park and be at the circuit within about 20 minutes on Saturday and Sunday morning. Surely LeMans with a lot of people parked/camping since Thursday/Friday it can’t be all that worse... unless I’m missing something.

My schedule would either get me into LeMans on Saturday Night or Sunday morning.
