Hi all. First time heading to LMC, booked through 1st Tickets at the PH private camping! Needless to say, excitement levels are building!!

So, what car are you coming in??

I'll start us off. 1973 Triumph GT6 MkIII

Uh oh! GT6 isn't going to be fit for the trip, instead I'll be taking the Mini! Portsmouth - Cean crossing on Wednesday night!

Will be at Maison Blanche with a Fulvia and RS6
We'll be in Blue Nord, not far from you guys. Are you there with Douez Coupes and the rest of the WRCC??

We’re heading over the Wednesday night, Portsmouth Caen, we’ll be in a GT40 and a Daytona Coupè

Anyone else in this crossing?

Heading out on that crossing too!! Looking forward to it, you'll see me in the mini. Sadly the GT6 won't be fit for the trip!

Over 550miles done. Only issue was ride height, with all our camping kit, it was riding a bit low. Next time I need to lift it a few inches to save my exhaust from the French speed bumps and ferry ramps!!

Was it you that list your exhaust on the boat Rob?
Yeah, because we were on the top deck as I went over the ramp, it snagged the back box a managed to snap the rubber hangers. Wish I went on the lower deck! Fixed it with some cable ties which did the job. All the speed bumps in the little towns didn't help either!!
