I've been going for five years and I don't remember any support races (unless you mean the wheelies in the town centre on friday night). Could be memory lapse because of the alternative liquid entertainment though.

I thought the support race was getting to the camp-sites on Thursday night before it got dark.

It's a memory lapse I'm afraid.

'02 was... err. Nope, I've got it too. F3000??
'01 was historics including Daytonas, Cobras, Lolas etc
'00 was historic ferraris
'99 was Clio Cup racers

Don't know what this year will be I'm afraid. I don't remember knowing what it would be previous years before I got there though.

Last year they had these idential "coupes" which looked like very stylised peugeot's.

It was actually a very good race. At least 3 cars fell off on every lap. And the huge galle late-braking for the first chicane was very entertaining!!

Yeah, I remember the Coupes from last year, I think that was 'Formula France ', younger, less experienced drivers hence the offs on each lap, they managed to leave quite a few paint marks on the concrete by the Porsche curves..

Thanks Helmut, I'd say I'm looking most forward to seeing the Ford GT40 in the Legends race..

Thanks Helmut, if Classic Le Mans last year was anything to go by I'm going to have to go easy on friday night to see the satuday morning event which sounds great.
