Le Mans 2004

Le Mans 2004 is nearly upon us and personally i can't wait. For me the whole event is a brilliant time, the drive down there the parade on friday the atmosphere and of course the champagne tent

Just wanted to hear about other peoples le mans experiance, and what they look forward to...

The track drive is essential, i was done for speeding by the police last year. Coming off the round about by the mulsane straight i booted it leaving the back off the car fish tailing for 50 metres and then sirens...... luckily he was a porsche fan and let me off, they tend to be more relaxed over the weekend..... except for the sunday drive home to catch the train/ferry !!

I have to say the drive down is the best, last year we had a 10 blast just before hitting lemans town. In this convey where a cerby, rara 355, porker 996, gt2, c4s, griff and a DB7 all of us doing 150 - 160..... almost wish i could have watched it go by.....

Counting the days.......
