The Renault Clio's look okay, never owned one but they are on the high side for tax etc, they also look expensive to fix. I have seen a couple of MK6 and MK7 Fiesta in the Zetec model which look okay. Dont like the look of a Honda Jazz, would prefer a Civic really, but its on the large side.

Don't like Fiats. I'm thinking Renault Clio, or a Fiesta or Focus/Civic.

Seem good value for money. Which would people recommend?

What is everyones thoughts on one of these: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2017...

Okay its not small, but at least I can use the back seats if needed and it also has a boot, which I could not use in the Mini.

They look a little bit boring.

They are a better drivers car in terms of steering feel and dynamics IMO, but the 1.6 petrol MK2/2.5 Focus feels a bit sluggish, probably because they are quite a bit heavier.
Yeah I may look at a 1.8 or a 2.0 petrol

So I may have someone coming to view the Mini. Any other recommendations on cars which I could look at?

Would not mind something with a bit more power. But also reliable and holds some of its value.
