Best 10y/o Estate: Audi, BMW, MB

Looking to replace my 20 year old truck with a more enjoyable daily driver.

My commute has gone from 50mi to 75mi and the old truck is just not up to the task anymore.

What are your experiences? Which of the 3 marques' estates have you owned would you recommend?

I did have an Audi A4 that I thought was a great car ergonomically, but would likely be looking at an A6 in this case

Don't know much about the BMW or MB variants, but would want the equivalent series to the A6.

Had not thought of the Volvo, will have a look at them.

I'm in the US so available diesels seem limited to a few BMW and VW models.
