We find ourselves temporarily down on cars. I would like something interesting which I won't lose money on owning between now and 1st March when I have a new car being delivered. Over that time I'll only do 2-3k miles, a mix of local driving, interesting roads and the occasional M4 trip. Given the short ownership, I'd like something I can buy in the next couple of weeks and resell very easily (to the trade if required) without losing money. Budget is very flexible/don't need finance etc. The only real requirements are:
- Fun to drive
- Completely reliable/no garage expense/time off the road
- Nothing previously crashed
- Prefer newer cars
- Must be fully weather tight and storable outside, but otherwise practicality isn't so important

I'd quite like to try a Cayman GT4 or an Evora 400, but neither seem to sell easily (or have cheap enough examples to protect from the likely trade bids in March). So rather than looking at this short term ownership with a fixed plan I'll be more flexible, I'd really consider anything interesting that I can 'buy right' so I don't loose money over such a short timeframe. So, your suggestions please...

Thanks in advance.

Loose = opposite of tight.
Lose = misplace or cease to have something.
Good spot Douglas

Find it difficult to see out of the Elise/Exige so I’ll have to pass. Would love a 991.1 but not sure where to buy cheaply enough to resell quickly so any ideas?

A modern classic could be interesting, and while the original TT looks good, driving one doesn't excite - any other suggestions welcome!
