Road trip to Geneva! Need help deciding what to buy!

Hi everyone,

I've got a fun game for you!

I cannot decide on what to buy for my road trip, and I need help to decide!

In March 2018 I'll be driving to Geneva for the motorshow from Manchester.

My brother will be driving his (amazing) brand new M4, and as I'm carless at the moment, I need something which is punchy.
He likes driving fast, hence the M4

I have no preference on make or model or fuel type, but I would ideally like a 4WD given I'll be looking to do some mountain blasts in winter.

Budget is my only limiting factor, I will be looking at a maximum of £4k for the car.

All suggestions welcome as I'm going to start seriously looking over the next few weeks!

I'm not arsed where it is in the country either.

I'd take a Fiat on that journey BTW.....

I'd get frustrated that I couldn't drive! Convincing him to insure me on his car would be pretty unlikely too, he loves it more than air.
