Can anyone advise me what to do ?

Today I have traded in my old reliable car and bought a second had car which has cost me £6000.00.
Two hours later i noticed that the battery light kept coming on while i was driving it.
I have phoned the garage who have told me to take it in tomorrow. However i found the reports from previous owner, he also had problem with alternator light coming on apparently it affected the windows too. I have not noticed this yet.
I am in two minds as to what to do.
I dont want a car with problems, i have used all my savings to purchase this one thinking that it will be more reliable than my old one that had over 100,000 mileage. The new one only has 30, 000.
what should i do ? I need my car for work so if i return it I will be without a car - agh !

the previous customer (only last month) also put it into garage and paid a lot of money for it to be fixed but looks like they have not got to the bottom of what the problem is.

Hi, i returned the car to garage and they have taken the car in to try to work out what is wrong.
they also gave me a courtesy car so i cannot fault them

Ha ha maybe not.
they have replaced coil and battery lead but i wont know if it is sorted until tomorrow - fingers crossed !

Valgar how did you get on with your car ? have you replaced it or are they repairing it for you?
