Fiesta or Polo

Hello guys! My first post!

I would just like to ask some people who know about cars because im fairly new to this. This will be my first car purchase!
I am torn between either a VW Polo or Ford Fiesta. I have read around that the VW is slow and you must thrash it to get any speed, but it’s comfortable. Whereas the Fiesta is much more fun to drive and better to control. I

What are your guys opinions?

They are both under 2k so within my budget!

Yes, so i have checked the insurance on both! They are the same, give or take £50
