I've owned a mk7 Golf GTD for nearly 3 years, but I'm now getting a bit bored and have started to look for something bigger, quicker and still diesel.

Trouble is,
A) ive not got the budget to buy new
B) I've got used to my creature comforts and I'm struggling to find cars that build on the spec I already have, the main one being adaptive cruise.

Does anyone know to a "find me a car" search tool where I can search by specification - preferably where it's not an option. I know Audi/BMW/Mercedes list adaptive cruise, but excessive online searching shows them to be a needle in a haystack.

It's an issue I had when buying the golf, but was hoping 3 years on more cars would have included it as standard spec.

I've spent hours trying to look at the pictures of the front grilles and steering wheels to look for the radar/buttons. It's pretty painful 😂

Like the look of the superb, but as with most of the MBQ platform, it doesn't look like they offer anything other than the 2.0tdi though, which would be slower than my golf with the extra weight.
They do a BiTDi Passat, but it looks boring frown

Was looking more at 335d's, E350's, A6 3.0TDis but was hoping to find a trim that may have the option ticked as standard.

Why not keep the Golf for the dull stuff and get something exciting for when you want to have some fun.
Kinda have that, but being as the Golf Is the daily, I just fancy an upgrade where I spend most of my time.

Thanks for some of the comments guys.
I think I'm going to have to continue with the targeted search on AT using "ACC", "Active Cruise" "Adaptive Cruise" "Stop & Go" "Distronic" etc.

As ever, I'm going to be looking for a needle in a haystack. It's usually stuff that's retrofitable but I dont think I fancy my chances with this laugh

Not much to add other that I feel your pain as I am in a very similar situation. Bought a new Golf 3 years ago with the Driver Assistance Pack which includes ACC,

Is anyone else using in this way or do you just limit to motorway use?
Was impressed by the ACC, but have recently spent significant time behind the wheel of a T-Roc with ACC and lane assist - takes so much stress out of long motorway journeys.

Use it similarly when the traffic is flowing - seems daft not to!
