What Utterly Invisible Pub Car?
Discussion
As I'm scrapping my K11 Micra and MK1 Ka, I'm in need of a replacement PubKa for when the world reopens.
Criteria as follows:
Because this is a car for leaving in places I wouldn't necessarily leave a nice car, such as near stations or in pub/restaurant car parks, it needs to be absolutely ignorable and unremarkable in every way.
Budget is a bit more than the original PubKa, probably looking around the £2000 mark, though this isn't a hard limit for the right car.
I'm thinking an Auris. Any suggestions from the PH massive?
Thanks in advance.

- Must be utterly invisible.
Because this is a car for leaving in places I wouldn't necessarily leave a nice car, such as near stations or in pub/restaurant car parks, it needs to be absolutely ignorable and unremarkable in every way.
- It must be mechanically reliable.
- Sufficiently decent that the missus will drive it - so free of mould and disgusting stuff.
- Sufficiently decent to drive that I won't hate it - although truthfully, this is less important because it's simply a tool for a job and I have other things for fun.
- Suitable for kids to learn in - If it's a manual and not squillions of horsepower, this is kind of already sorted.

I'm sorry. I've done a very bad thing.
I've ignored you all and ignored everything I know to be true and bought a specced up 2.0 petrol Citroen C4. I was starstruck by the amount of unnecessarily complicated electronic things to go wrong, coupled with the stupid fixed centre steering wheel for so little money.

Alfa 147 reliable & smart enough that the OH will be happy to drive & because it's an Alfa people will assume it's broken down.

I didn't look properly and I actually really want this... Might have to let the dealer down on the C4. Argh, decisions, decisions...https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202102058...
