Commuter car 800mile round trip

The pre covid transport links haven't recovered meaning the usual flying commuter route from Glasgow to London isn't as readily available as it was.
I recently sold up on my X5M due to it being an ornament although I did for a short spell do the 800mile round trip in it over a few weeks last year, which was between 5 1/2 to 6 hours door to door, easily doable on a bi weekly basis.
I've therefore been trawling the ads to consider what is out there as a car which will eat this journey in reasonable comfort but not breaking the bank. It would be a short term fix (6months approx) until a bit of normality returns.
no older than 2015, preferably under 60k miles, open to bodystyle, bit of comfort.
2015 730d m sports with circa 50-60k miles seem to fit the budget, anything else ?
