Best V8 Family Car Between £20k & £30k?

When my RR Sport goes off lease (cant wait) I am looking to buy a V8 of some description, before it's too late and they get even more taxed to death!

I want something that sounds amazing, is comfortable, not too old and reliable..............asking too much?

So far, my short list includes

BMW M5 - 2015-2016
Jag XFR - 2013-2015
Audi S6 - 2014-2016

I've been put of Merc stuff after owning a 2016 C63 Saloon, which rattle like hell inside, and the ride was too firm.

I'd love a BM M550i, but it's still out of my budget.

Any thoughts on above? Any other ideas or past experiences?

I don't mind the six cylinders, but I've had a few over the years, but never a V8

As for leasing, it's ridiculously expensive at the mo, so that's putting me off that

Speaking of 6 cylinders, the BM 540i is also on the list

Not very vocal as stock, but I'm sure an aftermarket exhaust would be available, there was a few for the RC-F

And yes to all those S8 replies, I think i'd love one, but I'm not loving the looks.

ISF again may have the CVT box?

I've noticed prices are starting to fall on most cars now, especially the V8's. Yes I had the V8 W205 C63, but thought the build quality was crap and the ride too harsh.

Rattles from the pan roof liner and dash! Drove me mad..........I hate any rattles in cars

Good news on the GSF gearbox, I might look into them now
