Currently drive a CLA220 but fancy a change. Not sure what car to go for.

I can go up to £35k, with the car being used for a mix of London / Birmingham journeys to visit family (1 every 2 weeks or so) and will need to have a boot to fit the golf clubs.

Have been thinking of switching to a Tesla, given prices on EVs are plummeting but the cost saving vs electric cost is giving me second thoughts.

Do want something with some poke, so has to be at least 250bhp. Have considered the likes of a 330i but it seems a little boring in the grand scheme of things.

Open to some suggestions, but I do have a preference for the vehicle to be at least a 19/20 plate.

Drop the 19 plate bit and get a e63 amg. W212.
Easy to average 33mpg on the motorway.
My mixed driving average is mid 20s.
550+ bhp

Sorted
Maybe a little bit too much car for what I need ha

£35k will get you a nice Model 3 performance. Reasonable levels of get up and go.

Tesla supercharger prices now back down to 39 / 40p per kWh, down from a few weeks ago.

Get yourself an Octopus night rate of c.7.5p, and it should be good.
I did look at these but the insurance is coming out at £2.5k!!!
