Hi, I've bought a used car from a large dealership. Within 24hours tge aircon has failed. This is all covered by Warrenty. The diagnosis shows the condenser is broken and shows signs of leaking.
The dealer accepts responsibility and it should have been picked up in the inspection.

However they won't fit a genuine part saying they still only fit an oem condensers. I'm not happy with this.

Has anyone got any advice on this please? There is nothing written in the Warrenty about non genuine parts.

Sorry for the delay as a new member I was locked out for 24hrs.

Some interesting comments on here. I should have specified that the diagnostic team were asked to source the cheapest one.
I've spoken to them about the concerns and approach. They have now purchased a genuine part.

I've had good and very bad experiences with non genuine parts. Had I not heard the conversation I would be none the wiser. Yes it could have come with oem part and I wouldn't know.
