Has anyone heard of these and if so any idea where to get some?

Although my new brake pads are sensational, when fitted to AP calipers they have a bad tendency at low speed to squeal enough to drive you mad. (same in my brother's Evo with APs - but not my Subaru with Alcons!).

I really want my front braks to stop squeaking and anti-squeal shims are apparently the way to go.

also - what brake fluid does everyone use for road + track?

cheers

Bizarrely my Impreza has not squealed once in over a year with the same pads! The low speed, in town squealing does my head in!

Will order some fluid now, think i was cooking mine at Rockingham.

Cheers Si.

Mine are both, and it encourages anti social braking to stop it happening....ie braking really hard at slow speeds which is dull!

If you didn't know this - DO NOT service your own brakes!
Jetstream fitted them - they are experts aren't they?

Mind you, i think when i got the same pads fitted to my subaru, i asked the guy to take the sharp edges off and perhaps he copper greased the backs himself as they have never squeaked once!
