Wasn't sure about how these would look but they've turned out quite well, the fitting was a doddle and the quality is good.

TVR left them filled in on the production Sagaris for this very reason. Fine for a race car but a little impractical for road perhaps?
That's a load of PR tosh, the manufacturing process already had them there, they then left them in because the additional cost in time to cut them out slowed down the process of churning them out and making money.

No sign of any stones pinging out of mine and I've driven some stty roads with them.

When it next starts chucking down ill go for a drive and get my passenger to take pictures of the vents to see what's happening and report back, when I don't wash my car for months the dirt actually follows the airflow around the canards, gurneys etc and paints a pattern showing what's going on, an uneducated guess is that just above the lights the air separates from the clam, some goes down the side and the rest goes over the roof but not much happens on that flat surface where I've put the vents.

I think the gurney has a huge influence on the air going over the roof as I discovered a couple of weeks ago when driving in the rain when my wipers stopped working. Normally the rain droplets would be pushed up the windscreen with the wind speed I found at 80mph the droplets above mid level on the windscreen would do as normal and go up but the few inches in the middle they wouldn't move AND the lower half of the windscreen the droplets started rushing back down the windscreen towards the clam... ??? Very odd to see at 80-100mph. Take that as you will though but it looks to me there is maybe low pressure area at the bottom of the windscreen so I'm hoping the vents will make use of that if there really is as much pressure in the front wheel arches as the wind tunnel suggests.

Interesting topic though.
