GR86 and Intelligent Speed Assist

So, with the new legislation due to come in on 6th July 2022, on all new vehicles sold, I presumme that this will be included in the GR86?
However, no one you speak to seems to know anything about it, or whether it is still planned to go ahead.
I am seriously considering placing a deposit for the 86 this week,, but would probably not bother if this Nanny state system is being inbuilt.
Anyone with any info on it, would be appreciated.

Existing models exempt until 2024. Fits two year run for GR86. It doesn’t have the technology fitted.

That is great news.
The whole point of the car is it’s simplicity, rwd,manual, na etc, without loads of gizmos, so you then really don’t want nanny trying to spoil your fun
